Emmy Award winning filmmaker Allan Holzman and his wife, Susan Justin, a talented composer and inspiring elementary school choir conductor, named 716 Productions after the July 16th birthdays of both their daughters, born three years apart. From day one, reading became an essential and exciting part of life. A favorite was Miss Rumphius, an illustrated book about a little girl who helped her grandfather by filling in skies for his majestic paintings of steamships. He wanted her to do three things in her lifetime: travel the world, live by the ocean and do something to make the world more beautiful.
